Plain & Simple interior book design

Design and template maintenance for product series entitled Plain & Simple. Designed for the beginner end-user. Design goal was to present each task in a specified application (i.e., linking to an external source file) in a colorful, engaging layout. Task would need to be presented on a single page, or single spread. The recto bleed tab at the top of each page would contain the current chapter title, and the bleed tab color is specific to each chapter (based on a pre-defined palette of six colors) in order to facilitate navigation. Running feet contain the current top-level heading as an additional navigation aid.
